When you close your eyes, take a deep breath and think: “What is the most important thing that I should do for myself today?” - the first thought that pops into your head is the right one.
Please don't try and explain it away or push it aside with the notion that you don't have time for it, or that other things are much more important. You are what is important, you and your well-being.
You have not been feeling quite yourself for a week now, or maybe a bit longer, and it's time for you to do something about it. No more putting the blame on whoever or whatever – take responsibility for yourself and start being your own best friend.
What advice would you give your best friend? How would you cheer them on? That's exactly what will help you out of your rut. YOU and only YOU know what to do, so please stop undermining yourself with thoughts, words and deeds.
And please stop telling yourself that you are scared, as this is the biggest hurdle you can put on your path. Dismantle this hurdle and start moving. Today is a very good day to start. Go on, you can do this!
