You have been avoiding the inevitable change for far too long. Every time it was there, right in front of you, something snapped within you and you just said “no, I’m safer in my comfort zone, no matter how painful it is and how many lies I have to tell myself to stay there”.
THE TOWER wants to reassure you that it is okay to change your mind about yourself and your feelings, that it’s okay for you to accept that what you were telling yourself wasn’t the actual truth of how things really are.
It can be scary to realise the conditioning you are under, as you assume that you know yourself and your feelings. Actually, most of the time we are kidding ourselves because of our cultural and social conditioning.
This conditioning leads us to have a belief system that isn’t actually our own, we just think it is. We are blinded by our ignorance and habits, totally unaware of our own programming. The more aware you become of this programming, the more you will be able to let it go.
So, the next time you tell yourself or someone else that you know yourself, be mindful of the fact that this is probably part of your conditioning. The more someone is able to push you to your limits, the more you will realise what the program is that is currently running.
Only when you are able to get past this programming will you see the choices that are actually available to you. You have so many options, but most of the time you are unaware of them or let fear of change hold you back.
