Ullr is here to remind you not to give promises and vows lightly, as just expressing them entails serious consequences. Especially on an unconscious level you are entering a pact and with it an obligation, which reaches into every area of your life.
With this, sometimes very distorted, code of honour we then measure other people’s words and deeds. It is our filter through which we see the world and which twists any moral concerns for our own benefit.
It is on this unconscious level where the idealised concept of intimate togetherness is stored, which is fuelled by the media with key words like ‘Soulmate’ or ‘Twin Flame’.
We completely buy into these phony love stories and contrived passions and, measured by this, all our own relationships aren’t passionate or dramatic enough. So, looking for our next fix, we create drama in our lives, hoping this time it will make us feel special.
We project our inflated hopes and beliefs onto the people who are or will enter our lives, which inevitably leads to disappointments, as it is impossible for anyone to live up to these high expectations.
Then we feel defeated, hurt, treated unfairly or even victimised. These feelings are exacerbated by our own vows, promises and contracts we have entered into on an unconscious level.
It is important for your own well-being to dissolve any kind of pacts, vows or contracts you have inadvertently entered into.
